Travel Points Hacker (TPH) is dedicated to informing our readers about the best ways to use credit card points, airline miles, and hotel points. From Chase to AMEX; United to Qantas; and Hyatt to Hilton, we cover everything.
The team behind TPH is the Collins family: Virginia, Jason, and Spencer. Not too long ago, we were boarding a flight to Paris from Newark on a Scott’s Cheap Flights deal and we got hooked on traveling the world for the least amount of money.
Finding cheap cash flights is only one aspect to traveling cheaply. Points accrued from credit cards, flights, or hotel stays are often underutilized and complex to understand. We aim to simplify and maximize our points to the fullest.
We have accumulated millions of points – yes, literally – and have flow mostly for free for the past few years with occasional exceptions for absurdly cheap cash flights.
TPH is based out of Osprey, Florida, and we travel three to four times per year internationally and we also fly domestically to visit family and friends. Spencer, at the time of writing, is studying in Bulgaria and travels within Europe more frequently for short periods of time.
We have been consistently following and using points for the past half decade and decided it was time to share how we travel the world for pennies.
